Returns

Note: Customers will be responsible for shipping charges on cancelled/returned orders.  All products must be unused, in new condition, packaged as they were received and must include all shipping materials. Once the product is returned to Pro-Tect Plastics, a seven day processing time is standard. If damaged upon arrival, you have the right to refuse the order. Freight orders must be inspected before receiving any products shipped on common carriers.  Claims will not be paid if freight bill is signed as received in good condition.

The following are a few simple steps for notification and/or return of imperfect shrink film materials, accessories or shrink wrap equipment.  Although Pro-Tect strives to maintain a high quality of materials, from time to time we receive notification of less than perfect quality in our materials.  These notifications represent less than one percent (1%) of Pro-Tect’s sales.  Please use the following steps below when problems arise:

STEP 1: Immediately notify Pro-Tect Plastic and Supply, Inc. by telephone, fax or email of any imperfections that may be evident.

STEP 2: Please save the shipping carton that the shrink wrap material came in.  Obtain the roll number and serial number from the box label.

STEP 3: Obtain a sample of the material large enough to test.  Approximately 3’ ft. x 3’ ft. would be sufficient in size.

STEP 4: Discontinuing use of the materials immediately, as Pro-Tect’s manufacturers will only replace materials that have not been used.  Once materials have been used, they will not be replaced.

STEP 5: Upon receiving results of all testing done by the manufacturer on the imperfect material, Pro-Tect will notify you, the customer, of the disposition and replacement of the unused material.


Warranties and Disclaimers

Pro-Tect Plastic & Supply Inc. warrants that new materials and equipment sold by Pro-Tect Plastic & Supply Inc. shall be free from defects, provided that the product is properly installed and maintained under normal conditions according to Pro-Tect Plastic & Supply Inc.’s instructions.  This is Pro-Tect Plastic & Supply Inc.’s exclusive warranty.

Exclusion

Although the use of the Pro-Tect plastic shrink wrap process is extremely durable, it is not totally impervious to excessive forces presented by the unpredictability of weather conditions.  Therefore, we can not guarantee against damages when exposed to excessive high winds, rains or snow loads.  Additionally, the material must be installed properly upon a stable and secure framework or foundation in order for our warranties to be in full effect.
